Sam Trego began developing the show now known as iL CiRCo in 1995 for the special events market. Event planners were just beginning to recognize the possibilities of the cirque genre of entertainment for different types of special events from theme parties to product launches to awards presentations. This original creation, called Cirque Nouveau, featured acrobatic performances tied together by a cast of characters woven throughout the production. Vibrantly-colored costumes, richly-textured lighting effects and gorgeous new age music were the hallmarks of the show from its inception. iL CiRCo has traveled throughout the world performing for special events and public audiences, including corporate-sponsored performances at both the Sydney and Salt Lake City Olympics. The cast has grown in both size and talent, and the part originally played by our young aerial acrobatic star has been cast with a number of different child performers, keeping the story line intact. |
